Map × Territory is a live audio-visual performance created with artists Cosmin Nicolae and Simina Oprescu, presented at Arkaoda, Berlin in October 2022.

The work reflects on boundaries cultural, technological and psychological—through sound, generative structures and real-time visual systems.

Cosmin and Simina explore diasporic identity, geopolitical memory and sonic cartography. Michael Tan provides the visual component, combining generative tools, AI-driven processes and motion design to map shifting relationships between place, perception and meaning.
