“Hayflick Limit” is a music video for Dopplereffekt, commissioned by Leisure System. The piece blends analogue video textures with digital 3D animation to explore themes of biological limits and synthetic life.

Glitched VHS recordings, abstracted cellular structures and stark typographic elements mirror the track’s conceptual roots in cellular ageing and genetic science, aligning with the broader themes of the Athanatos album.

Alongside the video, original poster artwork was developed as an insert for the vinyl release, extending the visual language into physical form.
