re:publica 2019 - LIVE AUDIO VISUAL PERFORMANCE
Carrier - aka Michael Tan debuts an audio/visual array of analogue technology, digital synthesisers and sample machines.Raw program data and audio signals are incorporated into a visual stream. Exploring, distorting two and three dimensional generative artworks.
For tldr, the visuals will feature work by Luke Prowse. A live concrete poetry-like structure, filling, overlapping, emptying with a semantic crush of data. It exists as a constantly mutating typographic sculpture, ever demanding to be fed new text, simultaneously inviting and rejecting the reader.
