RE:PUBLICA 2019 BERLIN TL;DR - LIVE AUDIO VISUAL PERFORMANCE
At TLDR Conference Berlin, 2019, Michael Tan debuted a live audiovisual array combining analogue circuitry, digital synthesizers, and sampling machines. Raw program data and live audio signals fed into a generative visual stream, blending two- and three-dimensional forms into an ever-evolving artwork.
The performance unfolded as a concrete poetry-like structure: overlapping, mutating, and collapsing under the semantic pressure of continuous data flow. A typographic sculpture in flux — it demanded new text like oxygen, simultaneously inviting and rejecting interpretation. A collision of signal and syntax, logic and noise.
Tools: Houdini, Touchdesigner, Resolume
