THE BELT - BERLIN ATONAL 2018
"The Belt" intricately fuses a computer system with a water-cooling pipe network, symbolizing the Silk Road's essence in China. The water-cooling which extends outside of the computer case, creates a three dimensional sculptural element.
Uniquely, "The Belt" integrates elements of club culture and video gaming, infusing a contemporary edge into the piece. Drawing inspiration from video game circuitry aesthetics and the vibrant energy of club visuals, this artwork seamlessly blends these influences. It invites contemplation on the intersection of ancient history, technological innovation, and modern cultural phenomena, inviting viewers to explore the interconnected threads shaping our world.
