My artistic practice is based in creating digital works, 3D rendered and realtime images for video, animation and installation. Using computer hardware and software, such as real time game engines, procedural and traditional animation, I aim to create audio visual experiences which explore social and political issues and their relationship to popular culture.
I am interested in the opportunities that emerge through new technology, the ability of digital works to transmit and connect across global networks and platforms. The history of Art and Sound as social and the ability of interdisciplinary creativity to transcend genre is a key focus of my research. I am interested in the changing role of audiences as digital consumers and how technology mediates both our private and public experience.
The ability to fuse environments of sound and image is of particular concern. I collaborate regularly with musicians, experimental and electronic artists to produce images and video. To date I have shown and created work for musicians such as FaltyDL, Blanck Mass, Konx Om Pax, Benjamin Damage, Kuedo and various record labels. I have worked across the commercial world as an Art Director and Motion/Graphic Designer for brands such as Adidas, Kenzo and Diesel & worked with contemporary spaces and artists such as Simon Denny and KW Institute Berlin/FEED to produce installation materials and promotional material.
